Musica Orbis Prague Festival 2024

Be part of a choral festival in the heart of Europe!

The festival is open to all non-professional choirs and offers both competitive and non-competitive categories.
You can look forward to concerts for the public, performances during Mass in St. Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle, a boat cruise with a reception and much more.

COMPETITION CATEGORIES:

Category A – Unrestricted repertoire

• A1 –  Children’s Choirs (up to 16 years¹)
  
• A2 – Youth Choirs (up to 21 years²)
  
• A3 – Mixed Adult Choirs
  
• A4 – Female Adult Choirs
  
• A5 – Male Adult Choirs
  
• A6 – Chamber Choirs

Category B – Sacred music

• B1 –  Children’s Choirs (up to 16 years¹)
  
• B2 – Youth Choirs (up to 21 years²)
  
• B3 – Mixed Adult Choirs
  
• B4 – Female Adult Choirs
  
• B5 – Male Adult Choirs
  
• B6 – Chamber Choirs

Category C – Folklore

• C1 –  Children’s Choirs (up to 16 years¹)
  
• C2 – Youth Choirs (up to 21 years²)
  
• C3 – Adult Choirs
• C4 – Chamber Choirs

Category D – Non-competitive

• D1 – Children’s Choirs (up to 16 years¹)
• D2 – Youth Choirs (up to 21 years²)
  
• D3 – Adult Choirs

¹ 10 % of choristers may be older than 16 but not older than 18 years of age.
² 10 % of choristers may be older than 21 but not older than 26 years of age.
