Deutsche Chormeisterschaft 2021, November 5 – 7, 2021 Koblenz, Germany

In cooperation with the city of Koblenz, INTERKULTUR is organizing the Deutsche Chormeisterschaft 2021 – The Summit Meeting of the German Choral Scene. With a new competition concept, the event provides for an exciting choral weekend in Rhineland-Palatinate, which will inspire choirs and audiences in equal measure.

The worldwide COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 has severely affected the first edition of the championship. The organizers are confident that the preparations for 2020 and the work with local and regional partners will enable a broadly based event in 2021. In addition, INTERKULTUR is currently developing a consulting and qualification concept that will accompany and support the registered choirs in their preparations from spring 2021 onwards.

In addition to the competition in the categories Mixed Choirs, Male Choirs, Female Choirs, Children’s and Youth Choirs, the top-class festival program of the Choir Championships will provide numerous musical highlights and opportunities for participation also outside the competition.
