International Choir Festival “Alta Pusteria” 2019, South Tyrol

The International Choir Festival “Alta Pusteria” takes place annually in June in the wonderful Val Pusteria (Puster Valley). Choirs from all over the world will join in 2019 and attend the 22th Edition of the festival to share their love of music at fascinating venues in the Val Pusteria, situated between Bruneck (Italy) and Sillian (Austria), in front of the impressive panorama of the South Tyrolean mountains.
The choir festival is open to all types of choirs and offers up to sixty performances. The repertoire is free of choice: there are no compulsory pieces and all musical periods and music styles are admitted. Furthermore a daily event for getting to know each other will take place during the festival: the opening concert on the arrival day, the welcome event  „Fiesta di Benvenuto“, taking place on the top of Plan de Corones (2275 m), the Tyrolese Party in Villabassa, the Choirs´ Parade in San Candido and the “Festa dell´ Arrivederci” to end the festival.
