Let us celebrate and promote choral music\, let us spread the value and experience of singing in a choir – as Kodály said: Music should belong to everyone! \nCome and join our Festival or the competitive part of the event and sing in prestigious music halls in the Hungarian capital city. \nHave a look inside – find out where competitions will be held at Laurea Mundi Budapest and the International Honor Choirs\, where Artistic Directors Henry Leck\, Treble Choir\, and Gábor Hollerung\, Mixed Choir\, will conduct a program celebrating the legacy of Zoltán Kodály which will premiere a new Hungarian composition. \nThe Palace of Arts\, known to Hungarians simply as Müpa is one of Hungary’s best known cultural brands and one of its most modern cultural institutions. It provides perfect home for classical\, contemporary\, popular and world music concert\, festivals\, workshops as well and a lot more. What a honor to be back and to show this place to everyone of you! \nBudapest Music Center (BMC) was founded by a Hungarian trombone player and academy professor to establish a music information centre which collects and makes information about Hungarian classical and jazz musicians and about contemporary compositions available world-wide. Besides its library function BMC has organized classical\, contemporary and jazz events for almost twenty years in Hungary and abroad as well. BMC\, in the heart of the cultural and educational district of Budapest with a big concert hall\, a cozy jazz club and wide range of technical service. \nThe Grand Prix is opened to Golden Diploma choirs and those qualified via the Budapest International Open Competition. DESCRIPTION:The Summa Cum Laude Festival Vienna is Austria’s premier global youth music festival for choirs\, bands and orchestras. It takes place in Vienna’s most important and most beautiful concert venues: The Golden Hall of the Musikverein\, the Grand Hall of the Konzerthaus and the MuTh Concert Hall of the renowned Vienna Boys’ Choir – offering an international environment where almost 2000 young musicians enjoy intercultural exchanges and build bridges that span continents. Top professionals form the international juries in the Competition and teach our Academy programme at the Vienna University of Music. Enjoy interactive workshops and educational lectures\, additional concerts with local audiences\, and pre-and post-concert tours in Europe. \nOne of the central aims of the festival is to provide a truly international atmosphere. DESCRIPTION:The EJCF Basel ranges among the most important platforms for highly qualified children’s and youth choirs in the world. Every two years in May (Ascension) eleven outstanding choirs from European countries\, one guest choir from a non-European country and six selected choirs from Switzerland thrill an audience of over 36\,000 concert-goers in more than 50 events. Apart from the high-quality music\, the festival focuses on the youngsters’ interaction among themselves as well as with the locals. All singers are hosted in guest families.
