International Choral Festival – Voces en el Pirineo

Voces en el Pirineo is a new international choral festival that will take place from 2 to 4 October 2026 in the Benasque Valley and Ribagorza, in the Aragonese Pyrenees, Spain.

Born in a borderland and meeting place, where mountains, villages, languages and history form part of a living identity, the festival invites choirs from different countries to share music, heritage and community in a unique natural and cultural setting.

Over three days, participating choirs will have the opportunity to sing in different venues throughout the Benasque Valley and Ribagorza, taking part in concerts held in spaces with history, character and a strong connection to the territory. The programme will combine choral performances, cultural discovery and moments of exchange between choirs.

The first edition of the festival will culminate with a final joint performance in the Church of Benasque, bringing all participating voices together in a symbolic musical closing.

Organised by Els Pitarrois del Freixe, a choir from the Benasque Valley, Voces en el Pirineo aims to become a warm, carefully curated and meaningful meeting point for choirs who wish to experience choral music in dialogue with landscape, heritage and human connection.
