Philippine Choral Music Exchange Program (PCMEP) 2027

The Philippine Choral Music Exchange Program (PCMEP) is a six-day international immersion inviting conductors, educators, composers, singers, arts leaders, and other choral practitioners to experience Philippine choral music from within its community.

Taking place 29 March–3 April 2027 in Metro Manila, Philippines, PCMEP brings participants into direct exchange with Philippine choirs, conductors, composers, arrangers, and cultural institutions through choral reading sessions, rehearsal observations, lectures and conversations, performances, networking opportunities, and cultural experiences.

The 2027 program includes discussions on the Philippine choral landscape, encounters with Filipino composers and arrangers, sit-in choir rehearsals, opportunities to discover Philippine repertoire, an exploration of Manila’s history and culture, and RESONANCE: Philippine Choral Concert Showcase.

Built around the pillars Learn, Observe, Experience, Connect, and Exchange, PCMEP seeks to foster new professional friendships, artistic collaborations, repertoire discoveries, future exchange projects, and connections between the Philippine and international choral communities.

Indirect Members of the European Choral Association are eligible for the PCMEP Preferential Rate, with participation beginning at USD 280. Optional accommodation packages are also available.

PCMEP 2027 is organized by SANGHIMIG Performing Arts Events & Travel Consultancy, in partnership with the Philippine Choral Directors Association (PCDA).
