MEMBERSHIP DAYS 2020
18-21 November 2020 | Online
organised in collaboration with Sing Ireland
Together with Sing Ireland, whom we would like to thank for kindly offering to host our membership Weekend 2020, we evaluated the different possibilities and came to the conclusion that it was, unfortunately, not be possible to gather our membership physically this year.
Due to the current regulations, we had decided to plan a purely online membership meeting, and hoped that this would also allow members to join who could otherwise not have attended. In order to make sure to turn our membership days into a good experience for everybody, we decided to adapt the schedule accordingly and tostart with membership discussion rounds already on Wednesday, November 18th and end with the General Assembly on November 21st.

General Assembly
At our General Assembly as usual, we looked back on the last year, reported on the third year of our project Upgrade – Connect – Reach Out, co-funded by the European Union Creative Europe Programme, and other activities during the past 12 months. But most of all, we will looked ahead, presenting the plan for the last year of our network funding project and the planned activities in 2021-23. The ECA-EC membership approved of the new Vision, Mission Statement, Strategy and Action Plan of the association as well as the suggested new membership structure and the new Regional Development Strategy. There was a lively and passionate discussion around these topics, as they are close-to-heart issues for many ECA-EC members. Membership involvement before the vote was taken included:
– Commenting on collaborative documents (links shared in the invitation e-mail and Members’ section)
– Sending comments by E-mail if they prefer (PDFs of the documents mentioned)
– Joining the Membership Discussion Rounds on November 18th and 19th
