34th edition of the
International Franz Schubert Choir Competition & Festival
March 13-17, 2026 (Vienna, Austria)
We are delighted to invite choirs from around the world to perform in some of Vienna’s iconic venues and experience the elegance of Ehrbarsaal and the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Wien, to name only a few.
Choirs can choose from different competition categories, from classical to folklore, sacred to contemporary, with or without requirements. Besides the competition, meeting music also offers participation in the festival without competing, as well as taking part in further musical activities, such as Evaluation Performance, Individual Coaching, Friendship Concerts, Gala Concerts and as part of the Opening Concert.
