Choral Fest Costa Rica for Peace invites choirs from around the world to Costa Rica for its 10th edition, taking place June 23–27, 2027.
More than an international choral festival, Choral Fest is a meeting place where voices, cultures and communities come together through music. Created around the belief that peace can also be sung, the festival offers a non-competitive environment in which choirs can perform, learn, share and build meaningful connections with singers from different countries.
The 2027 edition welcomes children’s, youth, school, university, community, church and adult choirs, as well as vocal ensembles and other choral groups. Participants experience concerts, workshops, cultural exchange, community encounters and Common Songs that bring the participating choirs together.
What makes Choral Fest Costa Rica special is that the experience extends beyond the concert stage. Costa Rica itself becomes part of the journey: its people, communities, culture and extraordinary natural environment provide a setting in which choir travel can become an experience with purpose.
There are no rankings and no competition between choirs. The emphasis is on musical sharing, human connection and the belief that singing together can help us listen to one another differently.
In 2027, as we celebrate our 10th edition, we invite choirs from across the world to add their voices to this continuing story of music and peace.
