First, tell us shortly who you are:
I am Sylvia … I live in the beautiful Ahr valley, which is famous for its red wines – I love hiking there in our beautiful vineyards. Oh, and I work as office and membership manager at ECA-EC.
Where did you first come in contact with choral music?
At the boarding school, which was run by nuns – that was quite an experience:-)
What is the greatest experience you’ve had inside the choral world?
To see the willingness of so many people to gladly give their free time and volunteer.
In your opinion, what is for you the best part of a concert?
The moments after the concert is over. To experience how the music still accompanies you – in whatever way – for some time.
Can you remember participating in an activity of ECA-EC that especially marked you?
Oh yes, Youth Choirs in Movements in Bonn last year!
What is your favourite music to listen to?
Jazz, R&B.
Which famous musician, alive or dead, would you like to meet?
Diana Krall, for sure!
